X'Mas a time to remember
Been out shopping for gifts for the pass week or so, I remember how when i was a boy we would all gather at Uncle Francis and Aunt Ean's home to celebrate Christmas. Uncle Francis is Catholic while Aunt Ean and the rest of the family are Buddhist but they would celebrate Christmas cause it was a day for everyone (7 families) to catch up with each other and to make the "kids" happy. A huge turkey and plates of mouth watering food would line the dining table and when we hear this,
Aunt Kim: "Children! come and eat!"
We "the kids" would all rush and grab at the goodies! the balcony was the only permitted area for us to hang out and eat. We would then gobble up our food and wait anxiously in line to collect our gifts from the bottom of the Christmas tree. Without a doubt, every year the adults would get us kids a gift and ill always remember that feeling of excitement everytime we laid hands on those present boxes and start ripping them apart!
Ever since a few years back when i finished my national service and started working full time, i have told myself to carry on bringing to the kids back home the kind of fun and joy i received from my uncles and aunts every Christmas when i was a little boy.

Whats wrong with Skype?!
Argh iam really irritated by the sudden problem iam having with Skype calls, i cant seem to hear the person on the other line! even after restarting my net connection my com and Skype!
Anyways ive just got back from Cairo, Egypt. And i visited another one of the wonders of this world - this time round the Great Pyramid of Giza!
The entire tour is pretty cheap and i think i spend no more than US50bucks! and boy was it a trip worth going for. Be amazed by the sight of the magnificent structures and the rich history behind em. You could check out my FB profile for the pictures (its on a tiny little link to the right, just scroll down) ill post a few pics up in a moment.
As for now iam gonna try fix my Skype programme...

DAVE!!!
Just finished watching Hell's Kitchen Season 6! and yes Dave aka the "one armed bandit" emerged the winner! reason why i was rooting for Dave all along was cause he is a person filled with determination and you could see that fighting spirit in him even tho he has got the disadvantage of only being able to cook right with a hand. Kevin on the other hand had an amazing looking menu for the final dinner service plus he was very creative with his dishes. I was starting to wonder if Dave's menu would be a little too simple. End of the day both of them did a spectacular job! Kudos to both of you!
The winner of this season, Dave Levey, was awarded a Head Chef position under Executive Chef James Walt at the Araxi Restaurant in Whistler , British Columbia, the first time the prize was a position at a Canadian restaurant.
the final blooper part when Chef Ramsay challenged Van to arm wrestling haha that was funny yo watch! you can catch it on youtube
Hmm... its 0930hrs in Dubai... i wonder if my sweethearts awake.

as i fell asleep listening to a song by Mika
I was listening to this song by Mika as i slumbered into the night, somehow the lyrics was stuck in my head even when i got up, partially cause the ipod was on repeat. I remembered trying to figure the words out and so i decided to do it early today...
-Happy Ending-
This is the way you left me,
I'm not pretending.
No hope, no love, no glory,
No Happy Ending.
Wake up in the morning, stumble on my life
Can't get no love without sacrifice
If anything should happen, I guess I wish you well
A little bit of heaven, but a little bit of hell
This is the hardest story that I've ever told
No hope, or love, or glory
Happy endings gone forever more
I feel as if I'm wasted
And I'm wastin' every day
This is the way you left me,
I'm not pretending.
No hope, no love, no glory,
No Happy Ending.
This is the way that we love,
Like it's forever.
Then live the rest of our life,
But not together.
2 o'clock in the morning, something's on my mind
Can't get no rest; keep walkin' around
If I pretend that nothin' ever went wrong, I can get to my sleep
I can think that we just carried on
This is the hardest story that I've ever told
No hope, or love, or glory
Happy endings gone forever more
I feel as if I'm wasted
And I'm wastin' every day
This is the way you left me,
I'm not pretending.
No hope, no love, no glory,
No Happy Ending.
This is the way that we love,
Like it's forever.
Then live the rest of our life,
But not together.
A Little bit of love, little bit of love
Little bit of love, little bit of love[repeat]
This is the way you left me,
I'm not pretending.
No hope, no love, no glory,
No Happy Ending.
This is the way that we love,
Like it's forever.
To live the rest of our life,
But not together.
*after the song and around 2 minutes of silence another song played*
-Over My Shoulder-
Over my shoulder.
Running away.
Feels like I'm falling.
Losing my day.
Cold! And dry! Cold! And dry.
Forgot my daylight.
Torture my night.
Feels like I'm falling.
Far out of sight.
Cold! Drunk! Tired! Lost.
Over my shoulder.
Running away.
Feels like I'm falling.
Losing my way.
Cold! Dry! Cold! And dry.
Forgot my daylight.
Torture my night.
Feels like I'm falling.
Far out of sight.
Cold! Drunk! Cold! And drunk
Iam not too sure what both songs mean to the Artist or what the purpose or message the song was suppose to sent to the listeners but from my point of view, its a really sad song, followed by the dark times the person went through - a failed relationship with the person he so loved and gave so much of himself to... to no avail... and the aftermath that followed... the final part of the song is really painful to hear... and in the end he is lost in total darkness all alone, cold and drunk.
Forgot my daylight.
Torture my night.
Feels like I'm falling.
Far out of sight.
Cold! Drunk! Cold! And drunk
