Got up by 0500Hrs (with a lill help from Edda) and was out of home by 0600. Time taken from Clementi to the airport was bout an hour+-. Sry Benny! was a lill late thanks for waiting! so we had breakfast and soon it was time to head into the briefing room, 0745 and the crew were all there waiting... for a moment the both of us felt kinda lost, the feeling inside was of excitement and fear. Briefing, introduction and all lasted for 30-45mins and off we go! it was time to prep the aircraft for flight.

Theres so many things to be done once we got on, it was busy busy as a bumble bee till the Pax boarding time:1000hrs all the way till landing:1630hrs. (there was a slight delay) Ive got alot to learn... judging from the speed and proficiency of my menthor btw my menthors a lady and shees doin a great job fixing stuff and guiding me along - many thanks Val!

ShangHai airport is HUGE! totally forgot bout snapping pictures of it. The downside: time taken from the airport to the hotel was around 2hours, we were caught in bad traffic and somewhere down the highway i found the source of the problem

China Guy: YOUUuu scratch my car! tat cost YUUuu 100Dollar...

Yea... they could do that for the whole day i dont care! once we passed the guys in that pic it was like "Godspeed"! and tada we landed ourself @ the hotel!

its really beautiful inside and to be honest iam surprised that the staff there can converse in the english language fluently and some of them are even better than the average Singaporean!
This is how Sheraton hotel looks like from the outside. Not a really clear pic of it. The game plan was to head to our hotel rooms, wash up and meet back in the lobby @ 1930hrs - crew dinner a must from the scrubs all the way up to the captain! boy was dinner good there was like 17dishes or so LOTS of beer (which they made benny and i drink) lotsa crap and jokes going round too! the price was suprising cheap. After dinner we went for a massage, everyone was like:

"k la 1 hour will do then we head back to the hotel"

that 1 hour didnt feel the least like it cause the massage was awesome! the fellas there can twitch and turn every single spot from head to toe and it felt SO GOOD! (done get me wrong when i say every single spot cause its "clean") by the time we got into the 2nd hour i even fell asleep... Benny passed on the foot massage haha he has his reasons! by the time the rest and i were done it was pass midnight, time to head back to the hotel for some quality rest.

Benny went shopping @ 0600Hrs the following day 12/09/08... i was lazy hence i only got up @ 11 to so a lill sight seein round the hotel area. Got coffee from starbucks (bout $2 cheaper than SG) went around their shopping complex... its alot like town area. I tried not to converse with the locals in chinese... it seems they all figured i am was Rojak or Japanese ha! almost laugh my head off when the guys @ starbucks asked me which part of Japan am i from i mean do i look Jap or does my english/chinese speech make me sound jap hmmm? anyway i told them i was from Singapore =) had a lill chat with em really nice fellas i would say. by 1310 it was "calltime" went back woke my buddy up and soon it was time to take a flight back to SG.

My overall expierence hmm i would say the trip was kinda short i didnt had time to see more of what ShangHai has to offer. Overall i would say the people there are friendly, reasonable price for good food, the crew was awesome especially my menthors Sim, Val, Jennifer and Sarah (thanks for being so nice to Benny and I) oh and the bottlecaps too rest assured ill do that onto my SNY in 6mths time.
